E.T.A. Hofmaņa noveles "Dons Žuans" divu tulkojumu salīdzinājums latviešu valodā

Abstract

Izvēloties maģistra darba tēmu, autore vēlējās uzsvērt, cik liela loma ir tulkotāja un autora gara radniecībai, tulkotāja prasmei izprast autoru un iejusties autorā. Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kā tulkotāja personība var ietekmēt tulkojumu. Pētījuma priekšmets ir Ernesta Teodora Vilhelma Hofmaņa novele „Dons Žuans” un tās tulkojumi. Saskaņā ar izvirzīto uzdevumu tika veikta noveles kā ekspresīvā tekstu tipa izpēte, izmantojot K. Raisas (Reiß) izveidoto tekstu tipoloģiju tulkošanai. Izmantojot salīdzinošo analīzi, tika konstatēts, ka tulkotāja un autora radošā saskaņa var palīdzēt saglabāt autora emocionālo vēstījumu, tomēr ne mazāk svarīgas ir arī tulkošanas teorētisko aspektu zināšanas.

The choice of master thesis’ topic stresses the importance of the congeniality between the translator and author and also the ability to understand the nuances of autors creation. The subject of master theses’ is to investigate how translator’s personality can influance the translation. The object of theses is a short story “Don Juan” written by Ernst Theodor Wilhelm Hoffmann and the translations of this short story. According to the aim of this paper, the author made a study about expressive text types, using the text typology by K. Raiss. On the basis of the contrastive anlysis may reasonably be said that during the translation the congeniality between author and translator can be very helpful by reflecting author’s emotional message, but another important factor is knowlege of the theoretical aspects in translatology.
