Zoomorfismi Džona Grišama romānos
Zusammenfassung
Šajā darbā tiek aplūkoti zoomorfismu veidi, kas sastopami Džona Grišema romānos “The Client”, “The Summons”, “The Broker”, “The Street Lawyer”, “The Firm”, “The King of Torts”, “The Brethren” un “The Last Juror”, kā arī tiek pētīta to nozīme tekstā.
Mērķa sasniegšanai izmantotās metodes ir literatūras avotu par semantiku un mākslinieciskās izteiksmes līdzekļiem, apskats, kā arī Džona Grišema juridiskā žanra romānos sastopamo zoomorfismu analīze.
Pētījuma rezultāti parāda, ka veiksmīga zoomorfismu izvēle padara tekstu interesantu un palīdz lasītājam vieglāk uztvert autora domu, jo zoomorfisms, kas lietots, lai raksturotu cilvēka raksturu vai uzvedību, asociējas ar šī konkrētā dzīvnieka uzvedību vai rakstura īpašībām.

The methods to achieve the aim are the study of the theory on semantics and the artistic expressive means as well as the analysis of the zoomorphisms employed in John Grisham’s books on modern legal drama.
The results of the research demonstrate that appropriate use of zoomorphisms enriches the text and helps the reader understand the author’s idea more easily, because the zoomorphism used to refer to a human being immediately associates with the characteristics of that particular animal.
