Informācijas tehnoloģiju izmantošana vēstuļu rakstītmācīšanā angļu valodā

Abstract

Informācijas tehnoloģiju straujā attīstība pēdējos divdesmit gados ir ievērojami ietekmējusi valodas mācīšanu un mācīšanos. Darbs aplūko jaukto mācīšanās pieeju vidusskolā, un konkrēti tās pielietojumu rakstītmācīšanā, piemērojot uzdevumu reālām dzīves situācijām. Kombinējot tradicionālo mācību pieeju ar moderno tehnoloģiju lietošanu, izmantojot „LangQuest”, tiek veikta autentiska vēstuļu rakstīšana. Darba mērķis bija pētīt „LangQuest” lietojuma efektivitāti skolēnu vēstuļu rakstītprasmes attīstīšanā. Lai sasniegtu mērķi, kā galvenā pētījuma metode tika izmantota gadījuma izpēte. Informācijas iegūšanai tika izmatoti šādi pētniecības instrumenti: teoriju analīze, dokumentu izpēte, intervija, anketa un skolēnu izveidoto vēstuļu analīze. Pētījums parādīja, ka „LanQuest”, kas izveidots atbilstoši mērķa auditorijas vajadzībām, var veicināt vēstuļu rakstīšanas prasmes pilnveidi.

The rapid information technology development over the past twenty years has strongly influenced language teaching and learning. The present paper deals with blended learning focusing on its applicability in teaching writing in real life situations at secondary level. It is performed by the application of meaningful writing activity in a form of LangQuest. The goal of this paper was to explore the effectiveness of LangQuest in advancing learners’ letter writing skills. In order to reach the goal a case study was used as the primary research method. Moreover, multiple data collection instruments such as: literature review, the documentary research, an interview and a questionnaire, letter analysis were used as research tools. The research showed that LanQuest designed according to target audience’ needs may help to advance letter writing skills required for its accomplishment of the tasks of the National Standards of secondary education.
