Lingvistiskais ikonisms Dž.R.R.Tolkīna darbā "Hobits"(ikonisko vārdu kontrastīvā analīze oriģināldarbā un tulkojumā krievu valodā)

Abstract

Sakarība starp skaņu un tā nozīmi ir interesējusi daudzus zinātniekus dažādos laika periodos. Termins lingvistiskais ikonisms tiek atklāts kā radošais spēks valodā un literatūrā. Šajā bakalaura darbā tiek pētīts lingvistiskais ikonisms pamatojoties uz onomatopiju un skaņas simbolismu. Teorētiskajā daļā aprakstīta fonosemantika kā lingvistiskas nozare, kā arī iztirzātas dažas onomatopejas un skaņas simbolisma definīcijas un klasifikācijas veidi. Praktiskā daļa iepazīstina ar ikonisko vārdu R.R.Tolkīna prozas daiļdarba „Hobits” oriģinālajā un tulkotajā tekstā (tekstu krievu valodā tulkojusi N.Rahmanova) un sistematizē to aprakstus. Kopā tika analizēti 156 ikoniskie vārdi oriģinālajā tekstā un 160 ikoniskie vārdi tulkotajā tekstā. Atslēgas vārdi: lingvistiskais ikonisms, fonosemantika, onomatopeja, skaņas simbolisms.

The problem of relations between the sound and the meaning has interested many scientists in different periods of time. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis introduces the term of linguistic iconicity and indicates its creative power in language and literature. This bachelor thesis explores linguistic iconicity through the form of onomatopoeia and sound symbolism. The theoretical part characterizes phonosemantics as a branch of linguistics, discusses onomatopoeia and sound symbolism, analyses some definitions and classifications of the types of onomatopoeia and sound symbolism. The empirical part discovers sound iconic words in the fictional prose text by J.R.R.Tolkien “The Hobbit” and in the Russian translation of “The Hobbit” by N.Rahmanova and gives their systematic description. 156 sound iconic words of the original text and 160 sound iconic words of the translated text were analysed: Key words: linguistic iconicity, phonosemantics, onomatopoeia, sound symbolism.
