Sabiedrības attēlojums mūsdienu antiutopiskajā literatūrā
Abstract
Šajā maģistra darbā tiek pētīts sabiedrības attēlojums mūsdienu antiutopiskajā literatūrā. Antiutopija, radās 20. gadsimtā, un ir salīdzinoši jauns literatūras žanrs, kura stāstījums ir biedējošs un drūms. Antiutopija parodē un kritizē utopijas vīziju par ideālam sabiedrībam; parādot šīs sabiedrības kā totalitāras valstis ar pilsoņiem, kuru tiesības tiek pārkāptas. Antiutopija arī pauž neapmierinātību ar esošo realitāti un norāda uz problēmam, kas ir atktuālas šodien. Tā rezultātā antiutopiskie romāni un filmas kļūst populāri un pieprasīti mūsdienās. Vēl antiutopija tiecas paradīt drūmās nākotnes kopienas pēc iespējas tuvāk realitātei. Antiutopiskajas sabiedrības ir ļoti dažādas savā sadalījumā. Antiutopiskajas sabiedrības attēlo nepievilcīgu nākotnes esamību, bet tomēr tām piemīt kaut kāda ļaunā un necilvēcīgā pievilcība, jo šīs sabiedrības brīdina par lietām, kas nedrīkst notikt.

The comparatively new genre of modern literature dystopia originated in the twentieth century creates terrifying and dark anti-utopias. A dystopian narrative parodies and criticizes utopian dreams of perfect societies; by showing these societies as totalitarian states with citizens whose rights are infringed. Dystopia expresses dissatisfaction with the existing reality and indicates problems of the today’s society and as the result, more and more dystopian or apocalyptic novels and films are becoming popular and demanded by spectators. Also, today’s dystopian narrative tends to present gloomy future communities as realistic as possible. These communities are very divergent in their divisions, they represent unflattering future existence, but still they are attractive in some wicked and inhuman conception, because they warn about things that should not happen.
