Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma 19. gadsimta 2. puses Rīgas valodu situācijas atspoguļojums Augusta Deglava romānā “Rīga” ir aktuāla mūsdienās, jo velkamas paralēles ar situāciju mūsdienās. Lai gan 21.gadsimtā vērojamas izmaiņas lielākajās valodu grupās, ir pamats uzskatīt, ka 19.gs. raksturīgā multilingvālā sabiedrība ir saglabājusies vēl šodien. Darba mērķis: noskaidrot Rīgas valodu situācijas atspoguļojumu Augusta Deglava romānā „Rīga”, respektīvi kā latviešu valoda, tostarp arī citas valodas, tiek atspoguļotas romānā, kā arī noskaidrot, kāda ir latviešu valodas situācija un stāvoklis latviešu sabiedrībā valodu konkurences apstākļos 19.gadsimta otrajā pusē. Darba uzdevumi: apzināt avotus, literatūru atbilstoši tēmai, balstoties uz lingvistisko un historiogrāfisko literatūru, sniegt latviešu valodas sociolingvistiskās situācijas raksturojumu un vēsturisko kontekstu 19.gadsimta pirmajā un otrajā pusē. The theme of this bachelor paper is Reflections on the Riga’s Languages Situation in Second Half of 19th Century in Augusts Deglav’s Novel ”Riga”. It is topical nowadays, because here can notice parallels with the situation nowadays. 21st century is a changes in the largest language groups, but is reason to believe that multilingual society which was typical in the 19th century, has survived nowadays. The goal of the bachelor paper: to find out Riga’s language situation in Augusts Deglav’s novel „Riga”, namely how the latvian language and other languages are reflected in the novel and to find out what the latvian language situation was and what was the Latvian language position in second half of 19th century. The tasks used for achieving the bachelor paper's goal are: to identify sources, review literature relevant to the theme, provide an explanation based on linguistic and historical literature, and provide information about the sociolinguistic situation of the Latvian language and historical information throughout the 19th century, to take source – novel „Riga” – analysis.
