Garīgās pasaules attēlojums Frenka Pereti romānos "Šī tumsas pasaule" un "Tumsu caurdurot"

Šajā darbā tiek pētīts garīgās pasaules attēlojums Frenka Pereti romānos “Šī tumsas pasaule” un “Tumsu caurdurot”. Tiek atklāts tumsas un gaismas spēku dalījums, un izcelti to pārstāvji – dēmoni un eņģeļi. Kā galvenā to līdzpastāvēšanas izpausme tiek definēta savstarpēja cīņa. Tiek secināts, ka konkrēto garīgo spēku attēlojumu ietekmējis vairāku tradīciju un apstākļu kopums - eņģeļu attēlojumam tie kanoniskās Bībeles un Dionīsija Areopagīta Debesu Hierarhijas eņģeļu apraksti. Dēmoniem tās ir trillera žanra sižetiskās īpatnības, bet kristīgā un mītiskā simbolika bagātina abu aprakstus. Tas viss rezultātā ir radījis īpaši dinamisku garīgās pasaules attēlojumu. In this paper depiction of the spiritual world in the novels by Frank Peretti This Present Darkness and Piercing the Darkness is researched. The division of the forces of darkness and forces of light is revealed, and their representatives - the demons and the angels – singled out. The fight is defined as the main expression of their coexistence. It is concluded that the certain depiction of the spiritual world is influenced by a mixture of several traditions and circumstances – for angels it is their depiction in the Bible and the work of Dionysius the Areopagite Celestial Hierarchies. For demons, the peculiarities of the thriller genre plot colour the demons; and for both, the rich Christian and mythic symbolism. This has created the spiritual world as a very dynamic area.
