Reālijas un to atveide latviešu tautasdziesmu tulkojumos vācu valodā

Abstract

Maģistra darbs „Reālijas un to atveide latviešu tautasdziesmu tulkojumos vācu valodā” apskata līdz šim maz pētītu tēmu – reāliju atveidi latviešu tautasdziesmu tulkojumos vācu valodā. Diplomdarba mērķis ir pētījums, kas pamatojas uz reāliju lomas noteikšanu latviešu tautasdziesmu tulkojumos vācu valodā. Pētījuma galvenais objekts ir latviešu tautasdziesmu tulkojumi vācu valodā, kā arī saistošā literatūra tulkošanas zinātnē. Pētījums sniedz pārskatu par visbiežāk sastopamo reāliju veidiem latviešu tautasdziesmās un šo reāliju atspoguļojumu tulkojumos vācu valodā. Maģistra darbs sastāv no piecām nodaļām. Darba pirmā nodaļa dod ieskatu svarīgākajos aspektos dzejas tulkošanā. Otrajā nodaļā tiek apskatīta latviešu tautasdziesma kā neatņemama latviešu kultūras sastāvdaļa. Viena no darba būtiskākajām nodaļām ir trešā nodaļa, kurā tiek aplūkotas reālijas tulkošanas zinātnes kontekstā. Šajā nodaļā reālijas tiek klasificētas pa jomām, kā arī, balstoties uz to raksturīgākajiem tulkošanas paņēmieniem. Pārskats par darbā analizētajām reālijām un to tulkojumiem vācu valodā apkopots pirmajā pielikumā. Ceturtā nodaļa kā viena no darba praktiskajām nodaļām veltīta reālijām dainās, kurā iekļauts arī dainās biežāk sastopamo reāliju uzskaitījums. Darba noslēdzošajā nodaļā tiek analizēta reāliju loma dainās un veikta to kontrastīvā analīze attiecībā uz tulkojumu. Pētījuma rezultātā secināts, ka reālijām tautasdziesmās ir neatņemama vērtība, jo tās raksturo latviešu tautas mentalitāti, tradīcijas un būtību, līdz ar to sniedzot ieskatu tās kultūrā. Tulkojumos reāliju atveide ne vienmēr spējusi to sniegt pilnībā. Diplomdarbs būs noderīgs materiāls latviešu kultūras un folkloristikas vēstures pētniekiem tālāko problēmu izvirzīšanā un risinājumā šajā jomā. The Master’s paper „Cultural words and their reproduction in translations of Latvian folk songs in German” deal with a problem – reproduction of cultural words in translations of Latvian folk songs in German. The main goal of the present paper is to carry out a research, which is based on determination of the role of the cultural words in translations of Latvian folk songs in German. The main study object is the translations of Latvian folk songs in German and the respective literature in science of translations. The present research provides an overview of most common cultural words in Latvian folk songs and their reflection in translations in German. The present paper consists of five main parts. The first part gives an overview of principles of poetry translation. The second part is about Latvian folk songs as an integral part of Latvian culture. One of the most important parts of the present paper is the third part, which reflects the cultural words in the context of science of translations. In this part the cultural words are classified according to the different fields as well as according to the different approaches in translating them. The list of cultural words and their translations in German which are analyzed in the present paper is included in Attachment No. 1. The fourth part of the present paper is a practical part and it is about cultural words that can be found in Latvian “Dainas” including the list of most common cultural words. The second practical part which is also the last one of the present paper includes the analysis of cultural words in Latvian “Dainas” and the contrastive analysis of “Dainas” with regard to translation. As the result of the research it can be concluded that the cultural words in Latvian folk songs are an important evidence of Latvian mentality, traditions and nature thus giving an insight into the culture. This has not been always achieved in reproduction of cultural words in translations. The Master’s paper will be useful material for researchers of Latvian culture and studies of folklore history in highlighting and addressing further issues in this field.
