Padēļa ezera paleovides attīstības izpēte izmantojot malakofaunas metodi

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēmas aktualitāte balstās uz ūdenstilpņu paleovides izpēti, jo tā ļauj iegūt svarīgu informāciju par ezera paleovides attīstību. Teorētiskajam pamatojumam tika veikta zinātniskās literatūras apkopošana par karbonātisko nogulumu veidošanos, saldūdens moluskiem Latvijā un to ekoloģiju, paleolimnoloģisko izpēti, izmantojot dažādas malakofaunas metodes un saldūdens molusku sugu raksturošanu. Darba laikā autore veica sapropeļa nogulumu vizuālo novērtēšanu, apguva un veica molusku atlieku analīzi, kā arī iegūto datu apstrādi, ar datorprogrammu TILIA tika izveidota molusku čaulu sugu diagramma un veikta iegūto datu analīze. Veikto pētījumu rezultātā noteiktas dominējošās saldūdens molusku sugas visa karbonātiska sapropeļa profilā, kas sniedz informāciju par paleovides attīstību Padēļa ezerā, molusku sugu sastopamību atkarībā no nogulumu ķīmiskiem parametriem.

Bachelor’s thesis is based on the study of water bodies paleoenvironment research, it allows to get important information about the lake development. The theoretical justification is based on the scientific literature on the formation of carbonate sediment, freshvater mollusks in Latvia and their ecology, paleolimnology research using a variety of methods of malakofauna. During Bachelor’s thesis, the author conducted a visual assessment of sapropel sediments, studied and performed molluscs residue analysis using the data processing software TILIA, made a diagram of the species of mollusc remains and analysis of data. Analyzes provided by certain dominant freshwater mollusc species throughout calcareous sapropel account which provides information on the development of paleoenvironment in lake Padēlis, as well as snail species is depending on the chemical characteristics of the sediment.
