Baložu pilsētas teritoriālās kopienas struktūra un attīstība

Abstract

Šajā bakalaura darbā tiek izzināta Baložu pilsētas teritoriālās kopienas struktūra un vēsturiskas izmaiņas tajā, balstoties uz kopienu veidošanās un pastāvēšanas teorētiskajām nostādnēm. Teritoriālo kopienu veidošanās un iniciatīvas ir nozīmīgs process dzīvesvides uzlabošanā ne vien no sociālģeogrāfijas un plānošanas viedokļa, bet arī vietas identitātes un tēla veidošanā. Baložu pilsētas sabiedrības profils un attiecības tajā ir vēsturisku, ideoloģisku un plānošanas procesu rezultāts. Darba rezultāts parāda, ka Baložu pilsētu veido divas savtarpēji kontrastējosās pilsētas daļas, starp kurām ir maz gan fizisku, gan emocionālu saišu. Baložiem piemīt liels potenciāls kā pievilcīgai Pierīgas mazpilsētai, tomēr pilsētai trūkst kopējas identitātes, tēla un iekšējo iniciatīvu gan kopienu veidošanās, gan uzņēmējdarbības kontekstā. Bachelor thesis “Structure and development of community in Baloži town” reflects on issues about structure of territorial community and historical change of it in city of Baloži and is based on theoretical approaches that explains the processes in the core of community forming. Development and initiatives of territorial community are significant for raising the living standards not only from the social geographical point of view but also because it forms the place identity and image. The social profile of community and relationships among its members in city of Baloži is the result of historical, ideological and planning processes. The result of the work is an argument that city of Baloži is formed by two mutually contrastive parts that lacks common emotional and physical bounds. City of Baloži could be a potentially charming town with its proximity to Riga, however there is lack of shared identity, image and internal initiatives related to community forming and also business activities.
