| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izvērtēt ģeogrāfiskās mobilitātes iezīmes Rīgas aglomerācijas nomalē, izmantojot Mālpils novada piemēru. Tāpēc darbā salīdzināti sociālekonomiskie procesi Mālpils novadā ar citiem Rīgas aglomerācijas novadiem, lai apzinātu galvaspilsētas saikni ar apkārtējo teritoriju.
Lai raksturotu ģeogrāfiskās mobilitātes iezīmes, izmantots daudzveidīgs avotu klāsts, tai skaitā autora Mālpils novadā veiktās anketēšanas rezultāti, kā arī statistikas dati par sociālekonomiskajiem procesiem. Mobilitātes procesu analīzi papildina autora izstrādātais kartogrāfiskais materiāls, kas atspoguļo migrācijas norises Rīgas aglomerācijā.
Pirmajā nodaļā definēts ģeogrāfiskās migrācijas jēdziens un tā veidi. Otrā nodaļa veltīta aglomerācijas iezīmju izklāstam. Turpmākajās nodaļās analizēti Mālpils novada sociālekonomiskie un mobilitātes procesi aglomerācijas nomalē.

| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the bachelors work is to evaluate pattern of geographical mobility in the Riga agglomeration by using Mālpils county as an example. Therefore the social-economic processes are compared in this work, with the purpose to identify development characeristics in the Riga metropolitan area.
Diverse range of sources are used to describe the pattern of geographical mobility, including results from author’s survey in Mālpils county, statistical data about social-economic processes in the Riga agglomeration. Also, the author’s developed cartographic material, which reflects migration processes in the Riga agglomeration.
First chapter of this work contains a definition of migration. Second chapter is dedicated to a description of agglomeration characteristics. Following chapters consist of analysis about social-economic processes in an external zone of the Riga agglomeration.
