Intertekstualitāte Stefānijas Meijeres romānā „Krēsla”

Abstract

Šajā bakalaura darbā tiek apskatītas un salīdzinātas intertekstuālās līdzības un atšķirības darba sižeta struktūrā un galveno tēlu raksturojumā Stefānijas Meieres romānā „Krēsla”, Vilijama Šekspīra lugā „Romeo un Džuljeta” un Džeinas Ostinas romānā „Lepnums un aizspriedumi”, salīdzinot „Krēslu” ar augstāk minētajiem darbiem. Šī bakalaura darba mērķis ir abu iepriekšminēto darbu sižeta uzbūvi un galveno tēlu raksturojumu salīdzināt ar romāna „Krēsla” sižeta uzbūvi un galveno tēlu raksturojumu , un norādīt intertekstuālās atšķirības un līdzības starp tiem. Pētījumā tika pielietota kvalitatīvā pētījuma metode. Teorētisko avotu izpēte deva iespēju iegūt materiālu šo trīs darbu sižetiskās uzbūves un galveno tēlu salīdzinājuma izpētei. Šis bakalaura darbs sastāv no 5 nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek analizēts termins „intertekstualitāte ”, un tiek piedāvātas vairākas un definīcijas un viedokļi, kā arī tiek aprakstīti tās galvenie veidi. Otrajā nodaļā. tiek salīdzināta romāna „Krēsla” sižeta uzbūve ar lugas Romeo un Džuljeta” un romāna „Lepnums un aizspriedumi” sižeta uzbūvi. Trešajā un ceturtajā nodaļā tiek salīdzināti S. Meieres romāna „Krēsla” galvenie tēli ar galvenajiem tēliem V. Šekspīra lugā „Romeo un Džuljeta” un Dž. Ostinas romānā „Lepnums un aizspriedumi’. Piektajā nodaļā tiek apvienotas un izskaidrotas intertekstuālās līdzības starp romānu „Krēsla”, Romeo un Džuljeta” un „Lepnums un aizspriedumi”. Galvenais secinājums ir tāds, ka S. Meieres romānam „Krēsla” ir vairāk intertekstuālo līdzību ar Dž. Ostinas romānu „Lepnums un aizspriedumi”, nekā ar V. Šekspīra lugu „Romeo un Džuljeta” . Atslēgas vārdi : Attīstīts un dinamisks tēls, galvenais tēls literārā darba sižetiskā uzbūve, Meiere, Ostina, Šekspīrs.

This Bachelor Paper is devoted to investigation of comparison of the intertextual similarities and differences of the plot structure and the characterization of protagonists of Stephanie Meyer’s “Twilight”, William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” and Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice”. The purpose of the research is to find and point out the intertextual similarities and differences between the plot structure and the characterizations of protagonists of “Twilight” and these two literary works. In the present paper the qualitative method of research has been applied. The research of theoretical sources provided material for the investigation and analysis of the plot structure and characterization of main protagonists of these three works. The Paper consists of 5 chapters, each of which discloses the subject of the problem from different aspects. The first chapter discloses theoretical analysis of the term “intertextuality”, concentrating on different theories and opinions, and describes the main types of intertextuality. The second chapter gives an overview of the plot structures of these three works, compares the plot structure of “Twilight” with the ones of “Romeo and Juliet” and “Pride and Prejudice”, at the end pointing out intertextual similarities and differences. The third and fourth chapter compares protagonists of Stephanie Meyer’s “Twilight” with W. Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” and J. Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice” protagonists, at the end pointing out intertextual differences and similarities with “Twilight”. The fifth chapter summarizes and explains the intertextual similarities and differences between “Twilight”, Romeo and Juliet”, and “Pride and Prejudice”. In the end the main conclusion is that S. Meyer’s “Twilight” has more intertextual similarities with “Pride and Prejudice”, than with “Romeo and Juliet”.
