Maģistra darbā tiek apskatīta korespondence starp vācu komponistu Hansu Verneri Henci un autriešu rakstnieci un dzejnieci Ingeborgu Bahmani. Maģistra darba mērķi ir analizēt un izpētīt Hansa Vernera Hences un Ingeborgas Bahmanes vēstules un sniegt ieskatu par galvenajām tēmām, kas tajās tiek apspriestas. Maģistra darbs ietver informāciju ne tikai par Hansa Vernera Hences korespondenci ar Ingeborgu Bahmani, bet arī vēstuli kā pašportretu un autobiogrāfijas avotu. Maģistra darbā tiek aplūkotas un analizētas vairākas teorijas par sevis atspoguļošanas tehnikām vēstulēs.

The master thesis is devoted to the analysis of the correspondence between the famous composer Hans Werner Henze and the well-known poet Ingeborg Bachmann. The aim of the thesis is to analyse and examine the letters of Hans Werner Henze and Ingeborg Bachmann, as well as to show insight into the main topics, which are discussed in these letters. The thesis is based on several current theories of self-techniques in the correspondence and on the findings of the role of the letter in the lives of Bachmann and Henze. The letter is presented as a self-portrait and the source of autobiography.
By analysing approximately 219 letters, the image and the aim of the correspondence between Hans Werner Henze and Ingeborg Bachmann was disclosed. It represents their perception of life and attitude towards their music and lyrics.
