Maģistra darbā “Bēgļu laikmeta (1915 – 1918) problemātika latviešu rakstnieku prozā” raksturota, sistematizēta un analizēta Pirmā pasaules kara bēgļu laika problemātika latviešu prozā, darbu saistība ar rakstnieku idejiskajām un estētiskajām īpatnībām, konkretizējot atsevišķus cariskās impērijas reģionus, kuros savdabīgi atklājas bēgļu sadzīve, garīgās un emocionālās orientācijas, vērtības. Galvenokārt uzmanība pievērsta informatīvi un mākslinieciski nozīmigākajiem prozas darbiem. Analizēti romāni: A. G. “Dvēseļu putenis” (1933 – 1934), J. J. “Nāves deja” (1924), A. U. “Pērkona pievārtē” (1922), V. L. “Vecā jūrnieku ligzda” (1937-1938) u.c.; stāsti: V. E. “Latvietis Krievijā” (1920) un J. J. “Vasara” (1923); stāstu krājumi – E. V. „Zaļā Zemgale” (1923), P. R. “Granātu ziedi” (1920); E. V. eseja “Izpostītā Latvija” un tēlojumu cikli: K. S. “Pa Kurzemes laukiem” (1915) un citi. Kaukāzu bēgļu gaitās tēlo J. Jaunsudrabiņš un P. Rozītis; Maskavu – V. Eglītis un L. Paegle, Sibīriju – V. Lācis, Ukrainu – K. Zariņš u.t.t. Bēgļu laikmeta problemātiku raksturo sāpes par atstāto dzimteni, neziņas un nedrošības atmosfēra, neizbēgamie materiālie zaudējumi, sadzīves (iedzīvošanās) problēmas svešumā, vērtību sistēmas maiņa. Atslēgvārdi: latviešu proza, bēgļu dzīve, dzimtenes ilgas, demoralizācija The theme of the Master Paper is The Problems of the Fugitive Epoch (1915 – 1918) in Latvian Prose. The problems of the fugitive epoch in Latvian prose during the World War One, and the connection of writers` works with their ideological and aesthetic features, - specifying some certain regions of the Tsarist Russian Empire where the fugitive` daily lives, values, their mental and emotional orientations reveal -, are characterized, systematized and analyzed in the Master Paper. Mainly, the attention is drawn to the informatively and artistically significant prose works. Such novels as “Dvēseļu putenis” (Souls Blizzard (1933 – 1934) by A. G.); “Nāves deja” (The Dance of Death (1924) by J. J.); “Pērkona pievārtē” (On the Outskirts of Thunder (1922) by A. U.); “Vecā jūrnieku ligzda” (The Seafarers` Old Nest (1937 – 1938) by. V. L.) etc. are analyzed. Such short stories as “Latvietis Krievijā” (Latvian in Russia (1920) by V. E.) and “Vasara” (Summer (1923) by J. J.) are analyzed. And such collected stories as „Zaļā Zemgale” (The Green Lowland (1923) by E. V.); “Granātu ziedi” (The Flowers of Grenades (1920) by P. R.); the essay “Izpostītā Latvija” (The Destroyed Latvia by E. V.); and play cycles as “Pa Kurzemes laukiem” (In the Fields of Courland (1915) by K. S.) etc. are also analyzed in the Master Paper. The Caucasus in the lives of fugitive is depicted in the works of J. Jaunsudrabiņš and P. Rozītis; Moscow – V. Eglītis and L. Paegle; Siberia - V. Lācis; Ukraina - K. Zariņš and so on. The problems of the fugitive epoch are characterized by sorrow for the lost homeland, outcoming material losses, daily life (existential, adaptation) problems abroad.
