| dc.description.abstract | Maģistra darbā “Pilnīgi cits cilvēks: resilience redzes traucējumu gadījumos” tiek pētīti resursi, kuri ļauj aktoriem pielāgoties redzes traucējumiem. Pētījuma mērķis ir izprast veidus, kuros cilvēki pārvar redzes traucējumu sociālās sekas. Process analizēts, izmantojot resiliences jēdzienu. Resiliences norise skatīta caur informantu naratīvu prizmu. Darbā tiek aprakstīta naratīva resursos un sociālajās attiecībās balstīta resilience. Darba gaitā secināts, ka resiliences praktizēšana ikdienas darbībās veido aktora pašrekonstrukciju, kuru informanti savos izteikumos dēvē par pārtapšanu “pilnīgi citā cilvēkā”.

| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the paper “Another Person: Resilience in Case of Visual Impair” is to examine the resources allowing people to adjust to visual impair. The aim of the paper is to understand the ways in which people overcome the social consequences of the loss of vision. The process is analysed using the concept of resilience, which is approached through the informants’ narratives. Narrative based resilience and resilience within social relationship are described. It is concluded that by everyday practice of resilience actors recreat themselves into “another person”.
