Metaforas un to mutiskā tulkošana no vācu valodas latviešu valodā Eiropas Parlamenta debašu runās

Abstract

Maģistra darbā „Metaforas un to mutiskā tulkošana no vācu valodas latviešu valodā Eiropas Parlamenta debašu runās” tiek pētītas metaforas. Tiek aplūkota teorētiskā literatūra par metaforām, to pazīmes un īpašības, iedalījums, kā arī tulkošanas teorija, akcentējot mutisko tulkošanu un ar metaforu tulkošanu saistītos aspektus. Darba mērķis ir aplūkot Eiropas Parlamentā debašu runās vācu valodā izmantotās metaforas un sniegt tulkojumu optimizācijas priekšlikumus latviešu valodā. Darbā tiek dots ieskats Eiropas Parlamenta struktūrā un tulkošanā šajā institūcijā. Darba praktiskajā daļā tiek analizētas atrastās metaforas un to tulkojuma varianti, balstoties uz teorētiskajām atziņām.

The Master Thesis „Metaphors and their Interpreting from German into Latvian on the Basis of European Parliament Plenary Debates” deals with metaphors. Theoretical literature about metaphors, their features and qualities, classification is examined. Also interpretation/translation theory is considered. The emphasis is on interpreting and aspects related to interpretation/translation of metaphors. The aim of the Thesis is to explore what type of metaphors are used in the European Parliament plenary debates in German and to give optimization suggestions for the interpretation in Latvian. There is an introduction given for the European Parliament and for the interpretation in this institution. The practical part of the Thesis deals with analysis of metaphors and their interpretation versions on the basis of theoretical conclusions.
