Latviešu Daugavas mīts un vācu Reinas ideoloģija. Par nacionālās atmiņas internacionalitāti

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā "Latviešu Daugavas mīts un vācu Reinas ideoloģija. Par nacionālās atmiņas internacionalitāti" apskatīta jaunlatviešu ietekme uz nacionālās domāšanas veidošanu latviešu mitoloģiskajā literatūrā. Joprojām latviešu identitātes apziņa zināmā mērā balstās uz tiem priekšstatiem, arī mītiem, kurus izveidoja jaunlatvieši 19. gadsimta otrajā pusē. Pētījuma mērķis, izsekot Daugavas mīta attīstību literatūrā un salīdzināt to ar Reinas ideoloģizēto lomu vācu literatūrā, tiek sasniegts, analizējot jaunlatviešu rakstus, viņu ideoloģiju un lielo ietekmi uz mītiskās Daugavas tēla attīstību. Īpaša uzmanība tiek pievērsta vācu kultūras iezīmju pārnesei mītiskajās Daugavas veidošanas procesā. Lai atklātu Daugavas mītisko attīstību un parādītu Reinas ideoloģizēto ietekmi uz vēlāko latviešu likteņupes Daugavas izpratni, darbā tiek apskatīti J. Alunāna un H. Haines, kā arī F. Mālberģa un A.Pumpura darbi. Būtiskākie secinājumi ir saistīti ar Daugavas kā tautas likteņupes politiskā tēla attīstību. Daugavas mīts eposā "Lāčplēsis" kļūst par latviešu brīvības simbolu, un darbojas arī kā arguments teritoriālo priekšstatu veidošanā ne tikai citu tautu acīs, bet arī pašu latviešu priekšstatā par to, kas ir svešs un to, kas atzīstams par latvisku.

The Bachelor paper "The Latvian Daugava Myth and The German Rhine Ideology. On the Internationality of a National Memory" discusses the Young Latvian use of the river Daugava mythology in the development of Latvian national identity in the 19th century and its impact on Latvian cultural perception nowadays. The aim of the research is to detect the elements of the Daugava myth in Latvian literature and to compare it with the role of the mythology of the river Rhine in the German literature. Particular attention is paid to the role of the German cultural features in the development of the myth of Daugava. The literary works of J. Alunāns, F. Mālberģis, and A. Pumpurs have been analyzed to detect and demonstrate the ideological influence of the mythology of the Rhine in the development of the mythology of the Daugava. The basic conclusions are connected with the role of the Daugava and its identification with the fate of the nation, its freedom and its unifying role of Latvian territories to separate it from the other territories.
