Abstract

Šajā darbā tiek pētītas liriskā varoņa attiecības ar Pilsētu, Pilsētas ietekme uz lirisko varoni, uz viņa iekšējo pasauli un viņa darbību, kā arī iespējamā liriskā varoņa ietekme uz Pilsētu. Analizēti tiek trīs dzejoļi – Aleksandra Čaka „Rīga”, Alfreda Volfensteina „Nacht im Dorfe” un Vladimira Majakovska „Мой университет” –, kuri tika sacerēti laika posmā no 1910. līdz 1930. gadam. Šie dzejoļi pieskaitāmi Eiropas pilsētas lirikas tradīcijai un izceļas ar to, ka īpaši spilgti atspoguļo liriskā varoņa attiecības ar Pilsētu. Katrā no dzejoļiem tiek atspoguļoti atšķirīgi attiecību modeļi, kurus vieno ciešā saikne starp lirisko varoni un Pilsētu. Tēmas, kuras tiek aprakstītas šajos dzejoļos, ir vienas no centrālajām tēmām modernajā literatūrā. Secinājumos tiek uzsvērts, ka liriskais varonis ir neatdalāms no Pilsētas. Tiek secināts, ka Pilsēta spēlē lielu lomu visās liriskā varoņa dzīves sfēras, tomēr liriskais varonis ne vienmēr pilnībā pakļaujas Pilsētas ietekmei.

In this paper I research the peculiarities of relationships between the lyrical I and the City, the influence of the City on the lyrical I, his inner world and his actions, as well as the possible influence of the lyrical I on the City. I analyze three poems - Aleksandrs Čaks’ “Rīga”, Alfred Wolfenstein’s “Nacht im Dorfe” and Vladimir Majakowski’s “Мой университет”, written between 1910 and 1930. These poems belong to the European tradition of urban poetry and are notable for the striking representations of the relations of the lyrical I and the City. Each poem resembles different models of relationships, which are united by an extremely strong connection between the lyrical I and the City. The topics covered in these poems are of those that are key to contemporary literature. In conclusion I accentuate the fact that the lyrical I is inseparable from the City. The City plays a key part in the lyrical I’s life and affects all of its aspects. However, the lyrical I doesn’t always completely succumb to the City’s influence.
