S.Meijeres romāna "Krēsla" popularitātes fenomens

Šī bakalaura darba mērķis is atklāt romāna “Krēsla” popularitātes iemeslus, salīdzināt to ar citiem populāriem un klasiskiem darbiem, kā arī analizēt romānu “Krēsla” no struktūras elementu parauga viedokļa. Pētījuma pamatā izmantoti teorētiskie materiāli par intertekstualitāti un strukturālo analīzi. Bakalaura darbā tika izmantota romānam “Krēsla” veltīto kritikas materiālu analīze, pētīšana un salīdzināšana ar Dž. Ostinas “Lepnums un aiszpriedumi “, E. Brontē “Kalnu aukas”, V. Šekspīra “Romeo un Džuljeta”, “Venēcijas tirgotājs” un “Sapnis vasaras naktī”.
Darba rezultātā tika pierādīts, ka romāna “Krēslas” popularitātes fenomens saistīts ar tā lasītāju sociālo attiecību un identitāšu nozīmi; tāpat tam pamatā ir intertekstuālās attiecības ar citiem populāriem tekstiem, romāna “Krēsla” struktūra atbilst teorijai par tipiskiem struktūras paraugiem, arī romāna “Krēslas” literārā žanra izvēle ir cieši saistīta ar popularitāti. Romānā lietotie simboli un mīti ir viegli atpazīstami lasītāju vidū.
Atslēgvārdi: fenomens; popularitāte; intertekstualitāte; struktūra; literārais žanrs; simboli; mīti The purpose of the research paper is to disclose reasons of popularity, to compare Twilight saga with popular classic works and to analyse Twilight saga from the point of view of structural patterns. The background of the research was theoretical materials on intertextuality and structural analysis. Therefore research methods were analysis of critical materials related to Twilight saga, investigation and comparison of Twilight saga with J. Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, E. Bronte’s Wuthering Heights, W. Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, The Merchant of Venice and A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream.
In the result of the thesis it is proved that phenomenon of popularity of Twilight saga is connected with the meanings of readers’ social relations and identities; it lies on Twilight saga’s intertextual relations with other popular texts as well; structure of Twilight saga conforms to theory of typical structural patterns. The choice of literary genre is strongly connected with the popularity of Twilight saga. Symbols and myths used in Twilight saga are easily recognisable among the readers.
