Pathos Teognīda elēģijās

Abstract

Šī pētījuma galvenais mērķis bija atrast un izprast paustās un izraisītās emocijas Teognīda elēģijās. Pathos ir emocijas, kas spēj pārliecināt mērķauditoriju, ja tiek meistarīgi un patiesi izpaustas. Pētījumā tika izdalīti 2 emocionālie līmeņi – autora paustais, kā arī klausītājos iecerēti rosinātais pathos. Tā kā sengrieķu elēģijai piemīt emocionāla daudzveidība, tajā tika atrasti daudzi piemēri, kas raksturoja Teognīda elēģiju emocionālo piesātinātību. Lai pētījuma mērķis tiktu veiksmīgi sasniegts, tika izvirzīti vairāki uzdevumi – iegūt informāciju par pathos no antīkajiem un mūsdienu avotiem, strādāt ar tekstu oriģinālā un tulkojumā, kā arī noteikt, kādas emocijas tekstā tiek paustas no autora puses un kādā veidā tas varētu ietekmēt mērķauditoriju, kā arī apkopot un sistematizēt emocijas, kas ļautu spriest par pathos lomu Teognīda daiļradē. Pētījums sniedza daudzpusīgu un padziļinātu ieskatu Teognīda elēģiju emocionalitātē.

The main objective of this paper was to discover and comprehend the expressed and aroused emotions in the elegies of Theognis. Pathos is the emotion that is able to convince the target audience, if it is masterly and truly disclosed. In this paper there was marked out 2 emotional levels – the pathos that is expressed by the author himself as well as the other that is planned to be aroused in listeners. Since Ancient Greek elegy possesses an emotional diversity, there was found many examples which characterized the emotional depth in the elegies of Theognis. In order to successfully achieve the aim of this paper, there was raised a several tasks – to obtain the information on pathos from antique and contemporary sources, as well as to determine which emotions are expressed in the text of the author and how it might affect the target audience, and to collect and systematize emotions which might let judge the role of pathos in writings of Theognis. The paper provided a comprehensive and in-depth insight into emotionality of elegies of Theognis.
