Abstract

Diplomdarbs aplūko leksikas mācīšanas tēmu. Darba autore analizē dažādu valodnieku darbus un aplūko viņu ieteiktos leksikas mācīšanas paņēmienus. Darba mērķis ir atklāt leksikas mācīšanas/mācīšanās dažādus veidus, kā pielietot tos darbam klasē, lai atrastu vislabākos, lai jauno vārdu mācīšanos pārvērstu par skolēniem interesantāku procesu. Autore ir atlasījusi uzdevumus un pielietojusi tos klasē, ņemot vērā skolēnu svešvalodas zināšanu dažādos līmeņus un psiholoģisko gaisotni grupā, tā pierādot hipotēzi, kura bija formulēta sekojoši: dažādu leksikas mācīšanas/mācīšanās tehniku un daudzveidīgu interesantu uzdevumu lietošana palielina skolēnu motivāciju un veicina leksikas mācīšanos. Lai noteiktu pielietoto paņēmienu un uzdevumu efektivitāti un noskaidrotu skolēnu mācīšanās ieradumus, diplomdarba autore veica intervijas un 2 aptaujas. Izpētes rezultāti parāda viņu interesi, kas patika, ko ir ieguvuši no leksikas mācīšanās izpētes laikā.

The present diploma paper deals with the theme of the teaching/learning vocabulary. The author of the paper analyses the sources by different researchers and views the techniques and tasks suggested by them. The aim of the paper is to to discover different ways of teaching/learning vocabulary and to use them in the classroom practice to find the best ones for transforming the learning of new words into a more interesting process for the adolescents. The author has selected a number of tasks and piloted them in the classroom considering the learners’ different levels of the foreign language knowledge and the psychological atmosphere in the group thus validating the hypothesis which was formulated as follows: using different techniques of teaching/learning vocabulary and various interesting exercises increases the students’ motivation and facilitates the learning of the target vocabulary. To discover the effectiveness of the techniques and tasks piloted and to clarify the students’ habits of learning benefits the author of the diploma paper performed the interviews and two questionnaires. The results of the empirical study demonstrate the students’ gains and preferences in terms of vocabulary learning techniques and tasks of the pilot study..
