Svešvārdu lietošana vācbaltu presē („Rigasche Rundschau” analīze)

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Svešvārdu lietojums vācbaltu presē uz “Rigasche Rundschau” piemēra”. Darbā tiek apskatīti svešvārdu vieta valodas sistēmā, to iedalījums un īpatsvars vācu valodā. Darba ietvaros apskatīta vācu valodas un vācvalodīgās preses nozīme Baltijā, īpaši Latvijā, kā arī sīkāk izklāstīta lielākā vācvalodīgā laikraksta “Rigasche Rundschau” nozīme Baltijas presē. Darba mērķis ir svešvārdu lietojuma izpēte vācvalodīgajā presē, īpašu uzmanību pievēršot svešvārdu izmantošanas situācijām. Analīzē izmantoti laikraksta “Rigasche Rundschau” materiāli no 1901. gada. Pēc svešvārdu analīzes secināts, ka svešvārdu lietojums laikrakstā atbilst “Rigasche Rundschau” profilam kā svarīgākajai Baltijai reģiona vācvalodīgajai avīzei, kā arī vispārējām tālaika svešvārdu izmantošanas tendencēm vācu valodā. Darbā atrodamas ievirzes uz iespējamiem tālākiem pētījumiem, kuru veikšanai nepieciešama plašāka materiāla izpēte. Atslēgas vārdi: svešvārdi, vācu valoda Baltijā, prese, Rigasche Rundschau.

The topic of the bachelor paper is “The usage of foreign words in German-Baltic press on the basis of Rigasche Rundschau”. The research takes a look at the place, categorisation and share of foreign words in the German language. Within the paper the meaning of German language and German press in the Baltics, especially in Latvia, is being unfolded. Also the meaning of the most important German newspaper in the Baltic press, the “Rigasche Rundschau”, is examined. The goal of the research is the analysis of foreign word usage in German press, paying special attention to usage situations. Materials from the newspaper “Rigasche Rundschau” in year 1910 are used for the analysis. The results of the analysis show that the usage of foreign words in “Rigasche Rundschau” is compatible with the profile of the newspaper as the most important newspaper in the Baltic region in German, and with the general tendencies of foreign word usage in German at that time. The paper gives further directions of possible research that would need deeper analysis of the material. Keywords: foreign words, German language in the Baltics, press, Rigasche Rundschau.
