Stilistisko līdzekļu diahroniskā analīze krievu prozas tulkojumos

Abstract

Stilisko līdzekļu tulkošana prozā joprojām nesaņem pienācīgu uzmanību, kas atbilstu to svarīgajai lomai, ko tie ir ieņēmuši literārā darba komunikācijā ar lasītāju. Bez stiliskiem līdzekļiem nav iedomājams autora stils. Šis bakalaura darbs pievērš uzmanību tam, kā izteiksmes līdzekļi, it īpaši epiteti, tiek tulkoti klasiskas krievu literatūras tulkojumos, kas pieder dažādām paaudzēm un kas tika tulkoti dažādiem mērķiem. Tas ir veikts ar aktuālo teorētisko materiālu un elektroniskā korpusa informācijas palīdzību. Darba gaitā tiek atklātas epitetu lietošanas īpatnības, tiek atzīmēti apstākļi, kuri palīdzētu turpmākajam pētījumam šajā sfērā. Darbs rada vēl vairāk jautājumu.

The translation of stylistic devices in prose remains noticeably underestimated, in contrast to the crucial role they assume within a literary work and in the communication between the author and the reader. Stylistic devices provide literary texts with the unique colouring without which they simply cannot function on the same level. This research paper examines the way stylistic devices, chiefly epithets, have been rendered in translations of Russian literature produced in different generations and with different aims in mind, with the aid of auxiliary theoretical materials relevant to the subject and the corpus-generated data. The paper outlines peculiarities of epithet usage in three different novels, outlines the conditions under which further research in the subject area could be made possible, raising even more questions.
