Abstract

Šis bakalaura darbs ir mēģinājums apvienot un analizēt autoetnogrāfijas un klasiskās etnogrāfijas metodoloģijas pielietošanu viena pētījuma ietvaros. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt, kā tas, ka vienlaikus pētniekam ir vairākas lomas, ietekmē viņa/viņas identitāti laukā. Empīriska atbilde uz šo jautājumu ir sekojoša. Ja pētnieks un apkārtējie cilvēki pētnieka lomas uztver dažādi, ir novērojama lomu sadursme. Ja tā ir daļēja, pētnieks to nojauš, taču jūtas komfortabli. Ja lomu sadursme ir absolūta, pētnieks izjūt lomu konfliktu. The bachelor degree paper titled “A Pinch of Cinnamon of Greek Anthropological Studies. The Experience of One Autoethnographic Research” is an attempt to combine and thereby analyze implementation of both autoethnographic and ethnographic methodology within the framework of one research project. The research objective is to investigate how the circumstance of a researcher simultaneously keeping up several roles affects his/her identity in the field. The empirical responses are the following: if the researcher and people around him/her perceive his/her roles in different perspectives, the role collision will be observed. In one case, if the role collision is partial, the researcher will anticipate it but feel him/herself comfortable. In the other case, if the role collision is absolute, the researcher will perceive it as a role conflict.
