Trimdas leksika Ovidija poēmā „Skumjās elēģijas”

Abstract

Bakalaura darba "Trimdas leksika Ovidija poēmā "Skumjās elēģijas"" mērķis ir izpētīt, kā leksika atklāj trimdā esošā autora pašrefleksiju. Mērķa sasniegšanai tiek apzinātas mūsdienu pētnieku atziņas par leksiku un semantiku, kā arī par Ovidija darba "Skumjās elēģijas" raksturiezīmēm. Sadalot poēmā atrodamo trimdas leksiku tematiskajās grupās, tiek pētīta attieksme pret "poeta relegatus" (izraidītais dzejnieks) svarīgām lietām un tas, kādā veidā dzejnieks šo attieksmi pauž, lai sasniegtu savu vēlamo mērķi. Darba gaitā tiek izpētīts, kā dzejnieks atklāj savu iekšējo pasauli, piemēram, izmantojot noteiktus vārdus noteiktā kontekstā un mītus ar noteiktu sižetu, kā arī veidojot alūzijas ne tikai uz saviem iepriekšējiem, bet arī uz sava laika populārākajiem darbiem. Pētījuma laikā tika atklāts, ka trimdas leksika ir dzejnieka nozīmīgākais līdzeklis, lai sasniegtu savu lasītāju, radītu attiecīgo tēlu par sevi un apkārtējo vidi, kas attiecīgi lasītājam liek just līdzi izraidītajam dzejniekam.

The aim of the bachelor’s thesis "The Vocabulary of Exile in Ovid’s "Tristia"" is to find out, how the vocabulary can show the self-reflection of the relegated poet. To achieve the goal the author studied the conclusions of contemporary researchers about vocabulary and semantics, and also about Ovid’s "Tristia" main features. Dividing the vocabulary of exile from the poem into thematical groups, the author studies the attitude to things that are important to the "poeta relegatus" (relegated poet) and also the way, how this attitude is expressed for the poet to achieve his goal. The thesis shows, how the poet reveals his inner world using, for example, certain words in a certain context and certain myths, as well as making allusions not only to his previous works but also to the most popular works of his time. The thesis revealed that the vocabulary of exile is the poet’s most important tool for reaching his readers and creating the needed character of himself and his surrounding environment that, respectively, makes a reader to sympathize with the exiled poet.
