| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba „Mežizstrādes intensitātes reģionālās atšķirības Latvijas valsts mežos” mērķis: izpētīt un kvantitatīvi raksturot mežizstrādes intensitātes reģionālās atšķirības Latvijas valsts mežos, noskaidrojot tās ietekmi uz mežaudžu vecumstruktūras izmaiņām.
Temata izpēte ir aktuāla, jo Latvijas valsts mežos gadā nocērtamo koku tāme tiek attiecināta uz valsts mežu kopplatību, bet nav pētīts, kā mežu apsaimniekošanas ietvaros veiktā mežizstrāde sadalās reģionālā griezumā. Pētījuma rezultāts ļautu prognozēt, kā Latvijā nākotnē izmainīsies mežu teritoriālais izvietojums un mežu vecumstruktūra valsts un reģionālā līmenī.
Bakalaura darbu veido trīs nodaļas. Galvenie autora secinājumi: lielākās mežizstrādes intensitātes reģionālās atšķirības ir radījušas 2005.g. vējgāzes, 2009., 2010.g. mežizstrādes koncentrācija uz kvalitatīvām mežaudzēm.

| dc.description.abstract | Purpose of the bachelor paper „Regional Differences of Logging Intensity in the State Forests of Latvia”: to study and describe quantitatively regional differences of logging intensity in the state forests of Latvia and its effect on age structure changes of stands.
The subject is live as the year estimate for tree fellings in the state forests of Latvia is referred to state forests in total, however regional split-up of logging within the forest management has not been studied. Result of the research will allow to predict the forest territorial location and forest age structure changes on state and regional level in Latvia in future.
Bachelor paper is composed of three chapters. Author’s main conclusions: the main regional differences of logging intensity were caused by windfalls of 2005, logging focus on qualitative stands in 2009, 2010.
