Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir ”Jalmāra Sēderberga sieviešu tēli salīdzinājumā ar tā laika sievietes ideālu citos romānos”. Jalmārs Sēderbergs ir viens no Zviedrijas pazīstamākajiem rakstniekiem. Lasītāju vidū viņš ir ļoti mīlēts un viņa grāmatas ir tulkotas daudzās valodās. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot un analizēt Sēderberga sieviešu tēlus salīdzinājumā ar tā laika sievietes ideālu citos romānos. Teorētiskajā daļā bakalaura darba autore apskatīs Jalmāra Sēderberga biogrāfiju, sievietes ideālu 19. gadsimtā, kuram ir daudz raksturīgu iezīmju un atšķirību no mūsdienu sievietes ideāla, un romānu Nopietnā spēle, Doktors Stikls, Saplēstā krūze, Purva bridējs sižetus. Praktiskajā daļā tiks analizēti sieviešu tēli romānos un tiks dota iespēja iepazīties ar sievietēm, kurām romānos ir liela nozīme. Sieviešu tēlu salīdzinājums sniegs informāciju par atšķirībām un līdzībām, kas piemīt galvenajiem sieviešu tēliem romānos. Izanalizējot visus četrus romānus, darba autore ir nonākusi pie sekojošiem secinājumiem: sieviešu tēliem Jalmāra Sēderberga romānos nav daudz kopīgu īpašību ar tā laika romānu sievietēm. Viņš tās attēlo kā intelektuālas būtnes, kas neatļauj vīriešiem valdīt pār sevi un izlemt viņu vietā.

The theme of Bachelor Paper is ”Hjalmar SĻderberg’s women characters in comparison with woman’s ideal of those times in other novels”. Hjalmar SĻderberg is one of the well known Swedish writers. He is very popular among readers, and his books have been translated into many languages. The aim of the Paper is to clarify and analyze SĻderberg’s women characters in comparison with a woman’s ideal of those times in other novels. In the theoretical part the author of the Bachelor Paper will inspect biography of Hjalmar SĻderberg, a woman’s ideal in the 19th century, which has many similar features and differences from the modern woman’s ideal, and plots of novels Serious Game, Doctor Glass, The Broken Jug, Wader in the Swamp. In the practical part will be analyzed women characters in novels and it will be given opportunity to get acquainted with the women, which have significant importance in the novels. The comparison of women characters will provide information on differences and similarities, what the main women characters possess in the novels. Analyzing all four novels, the author of the Paper has reached the following conclusions: the women characters in novels of Hjalmar SĻderberg do not have many common characteristics with the women of that time novels. He describes them as intellectual beings, who do not allow the men to rule over themselves and to make decisions in their place.
