Netiešās runas mācīšanas problēmas augstskolā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā izpētītas problēmas, kas rodas, svešvalodu studentiem apgūstot gramatiku Latvijas Universitātē, šajā gadījumā netiešo runu. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir uzskaitīt minētās grūtības un ieteikt optimālus veidus, kā to mācīt. Darba teorētiskā daļa iekļauj vispārēju gramatikas aprakstu, kā arī tās nozīmi valodu apguves procesā. Tam seko dažādu valodu mācīšanas metožu, pieeju un modeļu salīdzinājums. Teorētiskās daļas otrā nodaļa aplūko netiešo runu un tai raksturīgās pazīmes. Darba praktiskā daļa apkopo un analizē studentu viedokļus par netiešās runas apgūšanu un grūtībām, kas radušās mācību procesā, kā arī, ar vairāku pārbaudes darbu palīdzību, novēro to progresu. Pamatojoties uz veiktajiem pētījumiem, darba autore veic atbilstošus secinājumus. Atslēgas vārdi: gramatika, svešvalodu mācīšanas metodes, pieejas un modeļi, netiešā runa.

The present Bachelor thesis investigates the problems that students majoring in foreign languages at the University of Latvia face while mastering grammar, the reported speech in particular. The aim of the study is to point out these difficulties and suggest optimal ways how to teach the issue. The theoretical part of the paper includes a brief description of the concept of grammar and its significance in acquiring a foreign language. It is followed by a comparison of various foreign language teaching approaches, methods and models. The second chapter of the theoretical part deals with the reported speech and its most important characteristics. The practical part of the paper is aimed to collect and analyze the students’ opinions on the problems while mastering the reported speech, as well as to observe their progress with the help of several tests. On the basis of this research the author of the present paper draws relevant conclusions. Key words: grammar, foreign language teaching methods, approaches and models, reported speech.
