Astronomijas terminoloģijas veidošanas izpēte un izveide

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs “Astronomijas terminoloģijas veidošanas izpēte un izveide” ir saistīts ar tulkošanas nozari, jo Latviešu valodā ir izplatīta situācija, kad neeksistē ekvivalenti termini mērķvalodā. Astronomijas terminoloģijā šī problēma ir labi novērojama, jo šīs nozares terminoloģija nav pietiekami attīstīta salīdzinot ar citām nozarēm. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir radīt pamatu astronomijas terminu radīšanai Latviešu valodā. Tika izmantotas sekojošās darba metodes un izvirzīti uzdevumi pētījuma veiksmīgai uzrakstīšanai: literatūras avotu apskats –mateirālu apkopšana; datu vākšana – tulkošanas stratēģiju apraksts un atšķirību norādīšana; situācijas analīze – praktiska tulkojuma analīze lai pierādītu izvirzīto hipotēzi; datu vākšana – astronomijas terminoloģijas apkopošana. Iegūtie rezultāti pierāda bakalaura darbā izvirzīto hipotēzi.

Bachelor thesis “Research and Development of Astronomy Terminology” deals with the field of translations. The focus is set on astronomy terminology because while working on translation of articles devoted to the field of popular sciences a peculiar problem can be noticed – astronomy terms are underdeveloped and there are no dictionaries devoted specifically to astronomy terminology. The purpose of this study is to create basis for creating astronomy terminology in the Latvian language. The methods and the enabling objectives used in the study are: literature review – compiling of materials; data collection - gathering of the translation strategies; case study – a practical translation analysis to prove the hypothesis; data collection - gathering of astronomy terminology. The results prove the set hypothesis.
