Angļu valodas zināšanu apguves stratēģijas pirmsskolā

Abstract

Šī darba mērķis ir apzināt un izpētīt mācīšanas stratēģijas, kuras iespējams veiksmīgi pielietot angļu valodas nodarbībās pirmsskolas līmenī, lielāko uzmanību pievēršot valodas mācīšanai vārdu kopās. Galvenie faktori, kas noteica šīs tēmas izvēli ir gan arvien pieaugošā valsts iestāžu interese par svešvalodas apguvi agrīnā vecumā, gan arī šī darba autora personīga iecere pēc iespējas veiksmīgāk pielietot attiecīgās stratēģijas valodas apmācības procesā ar mērķi pilnveidot apmācāmo runas iemaņas. Diplomdarba mērķu sasniegšanā izmantotā metode ir darbības pētījums. Šī pētījuma rezultātā tika izdarīti vairāki būtiski secinājumi, kas akcentē nepieciešamību apzināties apmācāmo vecumposma īpatnības, izvēloties un pielietojot pirmskolas vecuma bērnu angļu valodas nodarbībās tieši tās stratēģijas, kas veicina valodas apguvi dabiskā ceļā. This study is dedicated to the investigation of teaching strategies which may be successfully applied in teaching the English language at a pre-school level, with the main focus on teaching the language in lexical collocations. The choice of the theme was determined by both an increasing interest of the state institutions in the foreign language acquisition at an early stage, and by the author’s individual interest in more successful application of the relevant strategies for the purpose of development of the learners’ speaking skills. The research method used for the purposes of the present paper is Action research. The present study has arrived at several conclusions emphasizing the importance of combining awareness of the peculiarities of the learners’ particular developmental stage and application of the strategies facilitating the natural way of language acquisition, when developing pre-schooler’s English language knowledge.
