Netikumi Marciāla dzejā (leksiski semantikais aspekts)

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Netikumi Marciāla dzejā (leksiski semantiskais aspekts). Šī Bakalaura darba teoretiskajā daļā ir vispārīgs pārskats par Marciāla personību, par to, kas ir epigramma senajā Grieķijā un senajā Romā; atsevišķu antīko autoru domas par netikumiem un tikumiem. Praktiskā daļa sastāv no 3 nodaļām, kurās tiek analizēti netikumi Marciāla epigrammās, un veidota netikumu klasifikācija: netikumi, kas bieži sastopami (par dzērājiem kuri nezina mērenību; par skopiem cilvēkiem, kas mantas dēļ ir gatavi pievilt pat draugus; par plaģiātu, kad cilvēks, kas ir tik skops, ka negrib nopirkt dzejas darbu, bet ar to uzstājas publikas priekšā kā ar savu dzeju; par pērkamiem cilvēkiem, kuri naudas dēļ gatavi mainīt spriedumu tiesā vai klusēt, neizpaužot svarīgu un dotajā brīdī nepieciešamu informāciju). Netikumi, kas reti sastopami (ārsts – šarlatāns, kuram nebūt nerūp pacienta veselība, jo galvenais ir nauda; liekulība, pret ko Marciāls asi vēršas, jo cilvēkam jābūt patiesam savās domās un rīcībā). Sieviešu netikumi (viltība, kuru sievietes ir gatavas izmantot, lai iegūtu līdzjūtību; izvirtība, kas acīmredzot bija ļoti izplatīta, tā kā ļoti nodarbina Marciāla prātu). Darba objekts ir Marciala 1. un 2. grāmata.

The objective of the bachelor’s paper “The vices in Martial epigrams” is vices wide spreaded in Martial's home town Rome. The theoretic part of the bachelor’s paper contains a general overview of the Martial as well as tells what an epigram in the ancient Greece and Rome is and presents the opinions of several antique writers about the virtues and vices. The practical part is divided into three sections which contain the analysis of the vices in the Martial’s epigrams and the classification of them: firstly, the vices often mentioned (drunkards not knowing the limits, avaricious people capable of letting down their friends for money, plagiarism – pretending to be the author of a piece of poetry written by someone else, corruptible people changing their testimonies in the court and holding back important information for money), secondly, the ones which seldom appear in his epigrams (charlatans caring for money instead of their patients’ health, hypocrisy Martial turns against very sharply since human have to be honest in their word and deed) and finally – the vices of women (cunning women use to acquire one’s sympathy; lechery which must have been widespread since it bothers Martial so much). The object of the paper is the Martial’s first two books.
