Mijkultūru mācīšanās integrācija angļu valodas mācību procesā

Abstract

Šajā bakalaura darbā tiek apkopoti un analizēti materiāli par mijkultūru mācīšanos un tās iekļaušanu angļu valodas mācīšanās procesā, kuru nozīmīgums un nepieciešamība Latvijā pieaugusi pēc iestāšanās Eiropas Savienībā, tādā veidā veicinot atšķirīgu kultūru saskarsmi un nepieciešamību sadarboties. Šī darba galvenais mērķis ir aplūkot un izanalizēt pieejamos materiālus par mijkultūru saskarsmi un mācīšanos, pievēršot īpašu uzmanību to iekļaušanai angļu valodas mācīšanas procesā, kā arī aplūkojot piemērotus veidus to apguvei. Darba rezultātā tiek pierādīts, ka, iekļaujot dažādas mijkultūru mācīšanās metodes angļu valodas apguves procesā, tiek ne tikai attīstītas valodas prasmes, bet arī paaugstināts tolerances līmenis, empātija un spēja pieņemt atšķirīgo sabiedrībā. This bachelor paper deals with the importance of intercultural learning and its integration in the English Language teaching process, necessity of which has increased in Latvia since entering the European Union, thus prompting communication and cooperation between individuals representing different cultures. The main goal of the present paper is to study the accessible material on intercultural communication and learning, paying special attention to its integration in English language teaching, as well as considering optimal ways of mastering it. The results show that by integrating various methods of intercultural learning in ELT, one develops not only the language skills, but also promotes understanding, empathy and acceptance of differences in the society.
