Abstract

Natālija Radžuba Literārā tulkojuma īpatnības ( L.Uljickas garstāsts „Soņečka”): bakalaura darbs. – Rīga, 2012 – 60 lpp. Bakalaura darbs veltīts L. Uļickajas darba „Soņečka” tulkojuma, ko latviešu valodā 2005. gadā veicis profesionāls tulkotājs Talrids Rullis, īpatnību analīzei. Izvēlētās tēmas aktualitāte neraisa šaubas, jo darbā skarti jautājumi, kas saistīti ar tulkošanas teoriju un praksi, un to atrisināšana ir svarīga veiksmīgai starpkultūru komunikācijas nodrošināšanai. Pētījuma novitāti nosaka pievēršanās valodas materiālam, kas agrāk netika skarts zinātniskajā lingvistikas literatūrā, jo nebija darbu, kas veltīti L. Uļickajas prozas tulkojumiem latviešu valodā. Kā pētījuma metodi autors izmanto komplekso pieeju, balstoties uz salīdzināmo un semantisko analīzi, kas ļauj aplūkot savākto praktisko materiālu, ņemot vērtā gan lingvistiskā, gan ekstralingvistiskā konteksta faktorus. Darbam ir skaidra struktūra, tas sastāv no ievada, trīs nodaļām un noslēguma. Izmantotās zinātniskās literatūras sarakstā iekļauti vairāk kā 30 avoti, tajā skaitā grāmatas, vārdnīcas-rokasgrāmatas un Interneta resursi. Pirmajā un otrajā nodaļā autors precizē mākslinieciskā tulkojuma kā starpkultūru komunikācijas līdzekļa mērķus un uzdevumus, kā arī analizē galvenās tendences krievu literatūras tulkojumu vēsturē. Autors aplūko tulkojamības problēmas un autora koncepcijas pasniegšanas adekvātuma problēmas attiecībā uz teksta oriģināla skaidrojumu, kā arī ekvivalentuma un mākslinieciskā teksta nacionāli kulturālās adaptēšanas jautājumus; atzīmē tulkotāja kā oriģinālā teksta saņēmēja un iztulkotā teksta nosūtītāja, radītāja kulturāli lingvistiskās kompetences svarīgumu. Trešā nodaļa ir darba pētnieciskā daļa, kas balstās uz tulkošanas transformāciju klasificēšanu un satur tulkojuma īpatnību analīzi dažādos valodas līmeņos (fonētiskais, leksiskais, gramatikas-sintakses un stilistiskais). Pētījums veikts, ņemot vērā kā paša teksta nacionāli kulturāli lingvistisko specifiku, tā arī Talrida Ruļļa tulkošanas stila īpatnības. Darbā plaši izmantoti piemēri, kas uzskatāmi ilustrē pielietoto klasifikāciju.

Natalija Radzuba The Peculiarites of a Literary Translation: The Novel Sonechka by L. Ulitskaya.: bachelour work. – Riga, 2012 – 60 pg. The bachelor’s paper analyzes the specifics of the translation of the novel “Sonechka” by L. Ulickaya into Latvian language made in 2005 by the professional translator Talrids Rullis. The currentness of the topic chosen does not raise any doubts as the paper touches upon the issues associated with the theory and practice of translation, and the solution of these issues is paramount to ensure a successful inter-cultural communication. The novelty of the research is also determined by addressing the linguistic material that never before was addressed in the scientific linguistic literature as there have been no scientific works that dealt with the translations of the prose by L. Ulickaya into Latvian language. The author applied the complex method as the research tool availing oneself of a comparative-relative and semantic analysis that allows examining the gathered practical material while taking into account the factors of both the linguistic and extralinguistic context. The paper has a clear structure, and it consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. The list of the scientific literature used has more than 30 sources including books, dictionaries-reference books and web sources. In the first and the second chapter the author specifies the aims and tasks of the artistic translation as the means of the inter-cultural communication and analyzes the major trends in the history of the translation of the Russian literature. The author looks into the issues of the translatability, appropriateness of the transfer of the author’s concept as regards the interpretation of the original text, the questions of the equivalence and national and cultural adaptation of the artistic text; stresses the importance of the cultural and linguistic competence of the translator as the recipient of the original text and dispatcher-creator of the rendered text. The third chapter is the research part of the paper itself built upon the classification of the translation transformations and contains the analysis of the translation specifics on various linguistic levels (phonetic, lexical, grammar-syntactical and stylistic). The research has been carried out while taking into account both the national-cultural-linguistic specifics of the text itself and the peculiarities in the translation style of Talrids Rullis. The author uses ample examples in the thesis that clearly demonstrate the classification applied.
