Abstract

Bakalaura darbs ir veltīts sievas un mātes lomas izpētei, kas mūsdienu Japānas sabiedrībā ir paliekoša un nemainīga ģimenes pamatvērtība. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt sievietei iedalīto lomu mūsdienu sabiedrībā uz tradicionālo japāņu ģimenes vērtību fona. Darbā tiks pētīts tas, kā tradīcijas ietekmē to, ka ģimenes sfērā pastāv zināma stabilitāte un nemainīgums. Tiks apskatīta arī mūsdienu sievietes pozicionēšana publisko un privāto sfēru mijiedarbības kontekstā. Darbā, apskatot mūsdienu sievietes iespējas un pienākumus, tiks parādīts cik nozīmīga ir sievietes kā sievas un mātes loma. Tiks aprakstīts kādā veidā mūsdienu sievietes, kuras izvēlās atkāpties no sabiedrībā pieņemtās idejas par ģimeni, apvieno mātes pienākumus ar ģimenes pienākumiem, un kāda ir sabiedrības nostāja šajā jautājumā.

The Bachelor paper is dedicated to the analysis of the role of wife and mother, which is the permanent and unchanging core value of the family in Japanese society.The aim of this work is to give an insight of the role, which is allocated to the women in today’s society in the context of the traditional Japanese family values. In this work several topics will be examined. Among them there are questions like, how the traditions are influencing the fact that stable and changeless code of behavior is still maintained in the realm of family values. In order to understand these subjects, this work will examine how the modern Japanese women interact within the realms of the public and private spheres. This work will give an insight on the opportunities and responsibilities of women and the importance of the role of a wife and mother in the contemporary society.
