Studentu mijiedarbības veicināšana angļu valodas stundās

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba tēma ir studentu mijiedarbības veicināšana angļu valodas stundās. Šī darba pamatu veido arvien augošs pieprasījums pēc efektīvas angļu valodas apguves, kā arī autores pedagoģiskā pieredze darbā ar vidusskolas vecuma skolēniem. Pētījuma mērķis ir aktualizēt klases mijiedarbības visdažādākās iespējas un īpatnības,parādīt mijiedarbības, komunicēšanas un sadarbības savstarpējo saistību, izsecināt klases mijiedarbības veicināšanai vispiemērotākos uzdevumus un aktivitātes, kā arī veikt divus atsevišķa gadījuma pētījumus starp vidusskolas līmeņa audzēkņiem . Darba metodes ir literatūras apskats, stundu plānu izstrāde, to novadīšana un aptauju rezultātu analīze. Galvenie pētījuma rezultāti var būt apkopoti sekojošā veidā:mācīšanās sadarbībā ir efektīvs līdzeklis studentu pašapziņas un to akadēmisko sasniegumu veicināšanai. Noslēgumā, kaut arī interaktīvas aktivitātes nebūt nav plaši izplatītas daudzās skolu praksēs, taču to pielietošana valodas mācīšanas procesā var potenciāli padarīt šo procesu daudz interesantāku, aizraujošāku un efektīvāku.

The topic of the current bachelor paper is promoting interaction between learners in an English language classroom. Increasing demand for effective English language learning as well as author’s personal pedagogical experience with students of secondary school level comprise the background for the research. The purpose of the current paper is to bring forward various possibilities and peculiarities of classroom interaction, show the interdependence of such concepts as interaction, communication and collaboration, arrive at the most effective exercise types and activities for raising interaction and pilot two case studies among students of secondary school level. The methods applied in the research are literature review, lesson plan compilation and class piloting, and questionnaire data analysis. The main results of the research can be summarized as follows: learning through cooperation is an effective tool for raising students’ awareness and academic achievements. In conclusion, though interactive activities are not a usual practice in many schools, their application has a potential of making the process of language acquisition more interesting, enjoyable and effective.
