Krāsu nosaukumu lietojums O.Vailda romānā "Doriana Greja ģīmetne"
Abstract
Parasti cilvēki runā par dažādām krāsām, krāsu toņiem un kombinācijām saistībā ar
vizuālajām mākslām, taču krāsas ir ļoti nozīmīgas arī literatūrā. Bakalaura darbs ”Krāsu nosaukumu
lietojums O. Vailda romānā ”Doriana Greja ģīmetne”” parāda krāsu lietojuma nozīmi.
Bakalaura darba mērķis ir uzskatāmi parādīt O. Vailda romānā izmantoto krāsu un krāsu
toņu dažādību, kā arī parādīt, ka vairumā gadījumu krāsu izvēle nav nejauša: autors ir izvēlējies
noteiktas krāsas, apzinoties konkrēto krāsu nozīmi un iespējamos efektus.
Bakalaura darba autore ir izmantojusi analītiskās un salīdzināšanas metodes, lai sasniegtu
bakalaura darba mērķi.
Veiktais pētījums pierāda, ka krāsu lietojumam romānā „Doriana Greja Ģīmetne” ir
izšķiroša loma . Izmantojot noteiktas krāsas, iespējams ne tikai radīt lasītāja iztēlē dažādas ainas –
krāsas ir cieši saistītas ar kontekstu un tās arī ietver dažādas nozīmes. Usually people speak about different colours, colour tints and combinations in connection
with visual arts. However colours are also very important in a work of literature. The bachelor paper
“Implications of Colour Names in Wilde’s Novel “The Picture of Dorian Gray”” demonstrates the
importance of colours in a literary work.
The purpose of the bachelor paper is to show the variety of colours and colour tints that
Oscar Wilde has used in the novel as well as to show that the choice of colours in most o the cases
was made deliberately -being conscious of the implied meanings and effects that these colours
have.
The author of the bachelor paper has used analytical and comparative methods in order to
achieve the goal of the bachelor paper.
The implemented research demonstrates that colours play a significant role in Wilde’s novel
“The Picture of Dorian Gray”. They not only contribute to creating particular scenes in the reader’s
imagination but there is also a close connection between the context and the used colours because
colours may imply different meanings.
