Mācību grāmatas izstrādāšana ieceļotājiem Īrijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs aplūko jautājumus saistītus ar mācību grāmatas izstrādi studentiem, kuri dzīvo un strādā Īrijā. Darba mērķis bija pierādīt izstrādātās mācību grāmatas nozīmi un aktualitāti. Darbā tika analizēta teorētiskā literatūra, kas saistīta ar kursa un mācību programmas izstrādi, tika apskatīti dažādi studentu tipi un veikta etnogrāfiskajā pētījumā iegūto datu analīze. Minēta analīze bija saistīta ar autores izstrādātās grāmatas aprobāciju, kuras mērķauditorija bija privātskolas studenti Īrijā. Pētījuma rezultāti parādīja, ka lielākā studentu daļa atzinīgi novērtēja mācību grāmatu, jo tā atbilda viņu valodas vajadzībām un apskatīja reālas situācijas, ar kurām viņi saskaras ikdienā.Tādejādi autores izvirzītā hipotēze, ka mācību grāmata, kura tiks balstīta uz ikdienas situācijām Īrijā, gramatiku un valodas funkcijām, atbildīs studentu vajadzībām ir pierādīta.

The present paper deals with designing a coursebook for learners residing and working in Ireland. The aim of the paper was to prove the relevance and topicality of the designed coursebook. The methods of the research comprised the analysis of theoretical literature pertaining to course and syllabus design, the discussion of various types of learners, and the analysis of ethnography, which was concerned with piloting the author's coursebook, designed for the learners in a private school in Ireland. The results of the research demonstrated that the majority of the learners found the coursebook helpful since it met the learners's situational and linguistic demands. Thus the author's proposed hypothesis that a localised coursebook that entails situational, structural and functional syllabi will meet the needs of the learners has been confirmed.
