Lapsas un jenotsuņa tēlu metamorfozes kā japāņu kultūras pārmaiņu atspoguļojums

Lapsas un jenotsuņa (tanuki) tēli bieži sastopami Japānas folklorā, leģendās un stāstos. Šiem dzīvnieku tēliem tikušas piedēvētas spējas mainīt izskatu un pārvēsties dažādās būtnēs un lietās. Darbā tiek analizētas un pierādītas dzīvnieku tēlu pārvērtību saistības ar kulturālajām un vēsturiskajām izmaiņām Japānā. Tiek secināts, ka stāsti par lapsas un jenotsuņa metamorfozēm atspoguļo sabiedrības uzskatu un morāles izpratnes izmaiņas Japānā no sendienām līdz pat mūsdienām. Katrā vēsturiskā laika posmā tēli atspoguļo aktuālo sabiedrībā, problēmas, reliģijas ietekmi un periodā valdošo noskaņojumu. In Japanese folklore and ancient legends foxes and raccoon dogs are known as shape-shifters. They are believed to have the power of transforming themselves into various beings, especially humans. There are a lot of famous legends about foxes transforming themselves into beautiful women and raccoon-dogs transforming themselves into Buddhist monks. My thesis analyses and examines transformations of foxes and raccoon-dogs as reflections of changes in the Japanese culture. By analyzing various stories concerning transformations of the mentioned animals in different historical periods, in which they are written, one can clearly see how they reflect the culture of a certain period, including people’s religious views, understanding of morality and general mood in the country as well as popular tendencies of art.
