Šis bakalaura darbs pēta elektroniskos sociālajos tīklos angļu valodas apguves īpatnības. Darbs sastāv no trim nodaļām. Pirmā nodaļa aplūko valodas apguves metodes, apskata, kurus interneta sociālos tīklus ir iespējams izmantot angļu valodas apguvei, kā arī iztīrza, kādi Web 2.0 instrumenti var efektīvāk veicināt valodas apguves procesu. Otrā nodaļa apraksta konkrētās situācijas analīzi un aptauju kā šim pētījumam izmantotās metodes, kā arī dod priekšstatu par pētījuma vidi, dalībniekiem un procedūru. Trešajā nodaļā autore apraksta un inzanalizē pētījuma rezultātus, atzīmē pētījuma priekšrocības un trūkumus, kā arī izstrādā rekomendācijas valodas apguvei interneta sociālajos tīklos. The present Bachelor’s thesis explores the peculiarities of English language acquisition in online social networks. The paper consists of three chapters. The first chapter gives an overview of language acquisition approaches, explores which online social networks can be used for English language acquisition, as well as examines which Web 2.0 tools can be employed to facilitate the language acquisition process. The second chapter describes the case study and the survey as the research methods applied in the study, as well as outlines the research settings, participants and research procedure. The third chapter presents the analysis of the research results, outlines the strengths and limitations of the present study, as well as provides recommendations for language acquisition in online social networks.
