Goda jēdzienā pamatota ģimenes vardarbība mūsdienu Turcijā.

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir „Goda jēdzienā pamatota vardarbība ģimenē mūsdienu Turcijā”. Darba galvenais uzdevums ir aplūkot vēsturisko kontekstu, kādā šī vardarbības forma ir attīstījusies, un analizēt galvenos sociālos un kultūras faktorus, kas ietekmē šī fenomena pastāvēšanu. Pēdējos gados šī problēma pievērš arvien vairāk uzmanību sakarā ar Turcijas centieniem pievienoties Eiropas Savienībai. Tēmas aktualitāti nosāka arī fakts, ka sakarā ar pieaugošo ekonomisko migrantu skaitu šī problēma strauji izplātās Turcijas un Eiropas lielākajās pilsētās. Darbs sastāv no četrām daļām un diviem pielikumiem. Pirmā daļa sniedz teorētisko bāzi, kas ir nepieciešama, lai izprastu ģimenes vardarbības rašanas vēsturiskos un sociālos priekšnosacījumus. Otrajā daļā tiek pētīti divi galvenie goda jēdzieni turku sabiedrībā – namus un şeref. Trešajā daļā ir aplūkota tāda ģimenes vardarbības forma kā piespiedu laulības, bet ceturtajā daļā tiek kritiski analizētas goda jēdzienā pamatotas slepkavības un piespiedu pašnāvības kā ģimenes vardarbības vissmagākā forma. Pirmā pielikumā ir tulkots Izvilkums no 1927. g. Urfas Gadasgrāmatas (Urfa Salnamesi). Otrā pielikumā ir sniegts Turcijas Krimināllikuma atsevišķu pantu tulkojums. The title of this master thesis is “Domestic violence based on the notion of honour in contemporary Turkey”. The main goal of this thesis is to examine the historical background in which this form of domestic violence appeared, and to analyse the main social and cultural factors which have an influence on this phenomenon. This problem has recently attracted a lot of attention due to Turkey’s intention to become a part of the European Union. The importance of this topic is also specified by the fact that this problem is spreading in the cities of Turkey and Europe because of the increased number of economic migrants. The thesis consists of four chapters and two attachments. The first chapter provides the necessary theoretical basis for understanding the historical and social prerequisites for the origins of domestic violence. In the second chapter the two main notions of honour in Turkish society – namus and şeref – were examined. The third chapter provides the study of such domestic violence form as forced marriages. In the fourth chapter both honour based homicide and forced suicides are critically analysed.The first attachment provides the translation of the extract from 1927th Urfas’s yearbook (Urfa Salnamesi). In the second attachment the translation of the selected articles of Turkish Penal Code is provided. Key words: Turkey, domestic violence, honour, namus, honour based homicide.
