Pārdabiskais Tomasa Hārdija stāstos

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tiek iztirzātas īpatnības Tomasa Hārdija īsajos stāstos, kuros ir pārdabiski elementi. Darba mērķis ir analizēt viņa stāstos iekļauto pārdabisko notikumu iezīmes un ietekmi, kā arī izdarīt attiecīgus secinājumus. Lai paveiktu šo uzdevumu, bakalaura darbs ir iedalīts teorētiskajā daļā un praktiskajā daļā; katrā daļā tiek apskatīts atsevišķs izvirzītās tēmas aspekts. 1. nodaļā darba autore pēta un analizē teorētiskos avotus par Viktorijas laikmeta īpatnībām, kā arī par pārdabiskā un šāda veida stāstu uztveri šajā laika posmā. 2. nodaļā tiek pētīti biogrāfiskie fakti par Tomasu Hārdiju un salīdzināti ar viņa darbiem, tādējādi izvirzot iemeslus tam, kāpēc viņš savos stāstos skāra pārdabiskā tēmu. 3. nodaļā tiek analizēti Hārdija stāsti, kuros ir pārdabiski elementi, kā arī noteiktas to raksturīgās iezīmes.

The bachelor paper discusses the peculiarities of Thomas Hardy’s supernatural short stories. The goal of the research is to analyse the character and effect of the supernatural phenomena used in Hardy’s short stories and to draw relative conclusions. To reach the goal, the paper has been divided into the theoretical part and the practical part, each of them looking at a different aspect of the proposed theme. In Chapter 1 and 2, the author of the paper studies and analyses the theoretical sources about the Victorian period of time and the perception of the supernatural and supernatural stories during the time. In Chapter 2, the biographical facts about Thomas Hardy are found out and linked with his writing; accordingly, the reasons for his supernatural writing are put forward. In Chapter 3, the short stories involving supernatural elements are analysed, and the characteristic features of them are singled out.
