Vārdu lietojuma biežuma atspoguļojums angļu valodas mācību vārdnīcās
Abstract
Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Vārdu lietojuma biežuma atspoguļojums angļu valodas mācību vārdnīcās”. Darba mērķis ir veikt teorētisku un praktisku temata izpēti, lai attēlotu galvenos virzienus, kas sastopami angļu valodas mācību vārdnīcās saistībā ar vārdu lietojuma biežuma atspoguļojumu. Darbā pielietotas gan teorētiskās, gan praktiskās izpētes metodes. Teorētiskās metodes ietver tēmai atbilstošas literatūras pētīšanu un analizēšanu saistībā ar vārdu lietojuma biežuma atspoguļojumu, bet praktiskajā daļā tiek veikta analīze, kas salīdzina četras mācību vārdnīcas. Darbs sastāv no 4 nodaļām. Pirmā 3 nodaļas pēta teoriju par doto tēmu. 4. nodaļa ir darba praktiskā daļa – vārdu biežuma atspoguļojums četrās angļu valodas mācību vārdnīcās. Secinājumi atspoguļo pētījuma rezultātus un pierāda, ka dažādas angļu valodas mācību vārdnīcas vārdu lietojuma biežumu atspoguļo atšķirīgi. Atslēgas vārdi: vārdu lietojuma biežums, korpuss, mācību vārdnīcas The present Bachelor paper “Reflection of Frequency in English Learners’ Dictionaries” deals with frequency reflection in learners’ dictionaries. The aim of the present paper is to do theoretical and practical research on the theme and to reveal basic tendencies on reflection of frequency in English learners’ dictionaries. The research methods employed in the paper are both theoretical and practical. The theoretical methods include the study of the relevant material on the frequency reflection, while the practical method includes comparative analysis, carried out comparing four English learners’ dictionaries. The paper consists of 4 chapters. Chapters 1 to 3 deal with the theoretical research. Chapter 4 is the practical part of the paper which shows the results of the comparative analysis of frequency reflection in four English learners’ dictionaries. The conclusions summarize the study and reveal prove that the frequency reflection is treated differently in English learners’ dictionaries.
