Draudzības koncepts Katulla dzejā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā Draudzības koncepts Katulla dzejā ir noskaidrots tas, kā draudzība atklājas romiešu dzejnieka Gaja Valērija Katulla dzejā (1. gs. p.m.ē.). Darbā pētīta draudzības nozīme, tās izpratne, iedalījums un izpausme, kā arī draudzību ietekmējošie faktori – visus šos aspektus aplūkojot autora daiļradē. Pētījumā īpaša uzmanība pievērsta koncepta analizēšanai antīko autoru darbos – Aristoteļa darbā Nikomaha ētikā un Cicerona darbā Par draudzību, jēdziena tālākas aplūkošanas nolūkos Katulla dzejā. Pamatojoties uz antīkās pasaules izpratni par draudzību kā starp vīriešiem pastāvošu tikumu, darbā šī savstarpējā mijiedarbība apskatīta tikai vīriešu starpā. Tiek secināts, ka draudzība ir vitāli svarīga savstarpējā mijiedarbība ikviena cilvēka dzīvē un laikmetā.

The Bachelor’s work The concept of friendship in the poetry of Catullus studies the way friendship is revealed in the poetry of the Roman author Gaius Valerius Catullus (1st century BCE). The work explores the meaning of friendship, its perception, division and manifestation, as well as factors that influence friendship – viewing all of these aspects in the context of the poet’s work of art. Special attention is paid to analyzing the concept in the works of ancient authors – Nichomach's Ethics by Aristotle and On Friendship to further investigate the notion in the poetry of Catullus. Bearing in mind that the ancient world perceived friendship to be a virtue existing solely among men, this mutual interaction is looked at only between males. The work concludes that friendship is a vitally important mutual interaction for any person in any century.
