Mirušo pieminēšanas ieražas un svētki baltu tradīcijās

Abstract

Maģistra darbā „Mirušo pieminēšanas ieražas un svētki baltu tradīcijās” trīs daļu ietvaros tiek aplūkota mirušo piemiņas pasākumu norise Latvijā un Lietuvā senatnē un mūsdienās. Darba pirmajā daļā „Mirušo pieminēšanas ieražu un svētku pētījumi baltu tradīcijās”, pētot teorētisko literatūru, tiek apzināti tie latviešu un lietuviešu folkloras pētnieki, kuru zinātniskā darbība saistāma ar mirušo pieminēšanas ieražu un svētku pētījumiem. Izmantojot viņu veiktos pētījumus, tiek noskaidrotas kopīgās un atšķirīgās iezīmes latviešu un lietuviešu mirušo pieminēšanas ieražās tradicionālās kultūras kontekstā. Pētot publicistikas materiālus un interneta resursus, otrajā daļā „Mirušo pieminēšanas ieražu un svētku atspoguļojums medijos” tiek aplūkota mirušo pieminēšanas ieražu un svētku attīstība sākot no 20. gadsimta pirmās puses līdz mūsdienām. Tāpat šajā daļā tiek izsecināta kapu kultūras, kapusvētku un mirušo piemiņas dienu nozīme latviskās un lietuviskās identitātes apliecināšanai dažādos laika periodos, kā arī izpētīti mūsdienu mirušo pieminēšanas svētku veidi individuālu un sabiedrisku pasākumu laikā. Darba trešajā daļā „Mirušo pieminēšanas ieražu un svētku analīze” tiek apkopoti veiktā praktiskā pētījuma rezultāti, intervijās izteikto domu apskats un raksturojums, kas norāda, kāda ir mūsdienu situācija mirušo pieminēšanas ieražu un svētku norisē.

The master’s work „Commemoration of the Deceased in the Baltic Traditions” in three parts is aimed at the study of commemoration celebration and its changes in Latvia and Lithuania in the olden times and at present. The first part of the work „Researches of the Commemoration of the Deceased in the Baltic Traditions” deals with the study of theoretical literature. The researchers of Latvian and Lithuanian folklore are discussed whose scientific activities are linked to researching the commemoration habits of the deceased. By using their research, the common and distinctive features of the Latvian and Lithuanian commemoration habits of the deceased in the context of traditional culture have been analysed. Based on the study of publicist materials and internet resources, the development of the commemoration habits of the deceased from the second half of the twentieth century until modern times have been examined in the second part „The Coverage of Commemoration of the Deceased in the Media”. There are also conclusions about the importance of the cemetery culture, kapusvētki and memorial days in acknowledging Latvian and Lithuanian identity in various periods of time. The different kinds of the modern commemoration rites of the deceased during private and public events are also presented in this part of the work. The results of the practical research, the ideas expressed in the interviews and review conducted by the author are presented in the third part „The Analysis of the Commemoration of the Deceased”, that describes the present situation in the commemoration habits of the deceased.
