| dc.description.abstract | Marks Tullijs Cicerons bija izcils romiešu orators, un viņa publiskās runas ir spilgts paraugs antīkās pasaules literatūras un vēstures kontekstā. Šī bakalaura darba mērķis ir noteikt retorisko izsaucienu un retorisko jautājumu nozīmi Cicerona Runās pret Katilīnu. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek īsumā raksturota Cicerona daiļrade un publisko runu nozīme viņa politiskajā karjerā. Otrā nodaļa tiek veltīta konkrētu retorisko runas figūru analīzes veikšanai. Darba gaitā tika atlasīti gandrīz simts retoriskie izsaucieni un jautājumi, kuri sagrupēti gan pēc nozīmes, gan pēc pielietojuma. Bakalaura pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti ļauj spriest par runas mākslas nozīmi politikā un tās psiholoģisko iedarbību, kā arī to, kādām niansēm jāpievērš uzmanība, uzstājoties publikas priekšā.

| dc.description.abstract | Marcus Tullius Cicero was a great Roman orator and his speeches for public speaking are an excellent illustration of ancient literature and historical situation. The task of this research is to prescribe meaning of rhetorical exclamations and rhetorical questions in Cicero's Catilinarian Orations. The first chapter is dedicated to describing Cicero's writings and the meaning of public speaking in poilitics. The second chapter is dedicated to analysing particular rhetorical figures. In order to successfully achieve the main task of this research, there were selected almost one hundred rhetorical figures to work with and they were classified by meaning and application. Achieved results allow to comprehend the meaning of rhetoric in politics and its psychological effect, as well as the most important details of public speaking.
