Abstract

Starpkultūru komunikatīvās kompetences loma kļūst arvien nozīmīgāka mūsdienu sabiedrībā. Labas svešvalodas zināšanas viennozīmīgi nenodrošina prasmi veiksmīgi komunicēt ar cilvēkiem no citām kultūrām, ir jābūt vairāk nekā labam vārdu krājumam un gramatikas likumu zināšanām, studentiem ir jāiedziļinās svešvalodas sabiedrības tradīcijās un kultūras atšķirībās un jāapgūst komunikācijas prasmes. Bakalaura darba nolūks ir noskaidrot starpkultūru komunikatīvās kompetences nozīmi svešvalodas mācīšanā. Starpkultūru komunikatīvās kompetences mācīšana var ietekmēt komunikāciju starp dažādu kultūru cilvēkiem un var mainīt arī personas attieksmi pret citiem cilvēkiem, tradīcijām un vērtēšanas sistēmām. The intercultural communicative competence has become an important issue in the modern society. The good foreign language knowledge does not definitely provide the ability to communicate successfully with a person from other culture. People should know more than vocabulary and grammar rules, they have to delve into foreign society’s traditions and cultural differences and acquire the communication skills. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to clarify the role of the intercultural communicative competence in the foreign language learning and teaching. The benefits of the intercultural communicative competence learning may appear in the interaction with the people from other cultures, and also in a person’s attitude towards other people, traditions and value system. The analysis of the theoretical materials and practical tasks in the bachelor thesis attempts to prove that the intercultural communicative competence teaching and learning affects the foreign language knowledge and improves the communication between people from diverse cultures; consequently a person can understand the way foreigners live and fell more confident using their language.
