Kontinentālās angļu valodas terminoloģijas globalizācija ES likumdošanas jomā kā inovatīva standartizācijas metode

Abstract

Šis maģistra darbs ir veltīts problēmām, kas saistītas ar kontinentālās angļu valodas standartizāciju ES likumdošanas jomā. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir izanalizēt ar tēmu saistītos autentiskos likumdošanas aktus un ierosināt minētajā jomā uzskatīt globalizācijas fenomenu par terminoloģijas standartizācijas metodi.

Globalizācija tika uzskatīta par pētījuma sākumpunktu; savukārt, aplūkojot globalizāciju līdztekus citām pazīstamām lingvistiskajām un ekstralingvistiskajām metodēm, autors centās pievērsties lingvistiskās globalizācijas iekšējām īpatnībām, šādi izveidojot jaunu metodisku pieeju terminoloģijas standartizācijai.

This Master Thesis is dedicated to the problems concerning standardisation of the continental English language terminology pertaining to the EU legal acts. The aim of the present research is to analyse the authentic legal texts relevant to the theme and to propose to view the globalisation phenomenon as a method of terminology standardisation in the mentioned area.

Globalisation was taken as a starting point of the research; hence, using globalisation alongside with other known linguistic and extra-linguistic methods the author has attempted to apply the internal peculiarities of linguistic globalisation to form a new methodological approach for terminology standardisation.
