| dc.description.abstract | Darba mērķis ir izpētīt Turku pilsētas urbanonīmus: rajonu un ielu nosaukumu rašanās vēsturi, izcelsmi un nozīmi. Darba teorētiskajā daļā vispārīgi ir aprakstīta urbanonīmija kā toponīmijas apakšnozare kā arī toponīmija kā onomastikas apakšnozare. Tiek izskatītas toponīmu apakšklases, toskait sīkāk urbanonīmi. Kā arī tiek izskatīta urbanonīmu sadale apakšnozarēs. Darba pētniecisjkajā daļā ir detalizēti izskatīti, izpētīti un izanalizēti Turku pilsētas urbanonīmi – rajonu un ielu nosaukumi. Ir izpētīta šo nosaukumu vēsture, atrašanās vieta, izcelsme un nosaukumu nozīme somu un latviešu valodā.

| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this paper is to explore urbanonimes of Turku – history, origin and meaning of names of street and district. Theoretical part of this paper generaly describes the role of urbanonymy in the world of toponymy and toponymy in the world of onomastics. It also includes the order of toponymes, particularly urbanonymes and order of urbanonymes as well. In the practical part are particularly described and analyzed urbanonimes of Turku – names of districts and streets. Is investigated their history, location, origin and meaning in both Finnish and Latvian languages.
