Šekspīra tekstu izmantojuma principi Latvijas teātrī 20. gs. beigās/ 21.gs. sākumā

Abstract

Maģistra darbs „Šekspīra tekstu izmantojuma principi Latvijas teātrī 20. gs. beigās/21.gs. sākumā” pievēršas aktuālam jautājumam - klasiska teksta un inscenējuma attiecībām mūsdienu teātrī. Kā klasiska teksta paraugi izvēlētas Šekspīra lugas, par analizējamo materiālu - virkne latviešu teātra iestudējumu no 20. gs. beigām/21.gs. sākumā. Darbā pētīta teksta loma teātrī, šīs lomas izmaiņas un attīstība pēdējos gadu desmitos, kad noteicošas kļūst postdramatiskā teātra tradīcijas, kas, pretēji dramatiskam teātrim, neuzsver tekstu kā izrādes galveno daļu, kurai ir pakārtotas citas, bet kā vienu no līdzvērtīgiem teatrāliem elementiem. Īpaša uzmanība darbā pievērsta P.Pavī piedāvātajai klasisko tekstu un inscenējuma attiecību shēmai, kuras kontekstā tiek analizētas izvēlētas izrādes, pētot, kādas pieejas klasikas interpretācija latviešu teātri ir aktīvi izmantotas un radošas vai reti aktuālizētas.

The Master’s thesis „ Schakespearean Text Using Principle in the Latvian Theatre in the Late Twentieth-Early Twenty-First Century” addresses the essential question – the relations between the classic texts and the performances in the contemporary theatre. As an example of the classic text the plays of William Shakespeare are chosen and as analyzable material – a variety of Latvian theatrical productions since the late twentieth century till the beginning of the twenty first. The work examines the role of the text in the theatre, its change and development in the last decades, when determining becomes post-dramatic tradition, which in contrast with dramatic text is not perceived as a major part of the show, but as a one of the equal elements of the theatrical production. Special attention is drawn to the diagram elaborated by P. Pavi, which depicts the relations between the classic text and the performance, while analyzing which approaches to the classics have been actively used in the Latvian theatre and which ones have been rarely updated.
