Profesionālā slenga lietojums motokrosa diskursā
Abstract
Bakalaura darbā tiek pētīts profesionālais slengs, kas pielietots motokrosa diskursā, un vārdu nozīmes veidošana, ņemot vērā kontekstu un stilistiskās izteiksmes līdzekļus. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek izklāstīts diskursa jēdziens, ir paskaidrots un dots apraksts motokrosa diskursam, darbā aprakstīti vārdu nozīmes veidošanas paņēmieni, izmantojot kontekstu un stilistiskās izteiksmes līdzekļus, tiek sniegta informācijas par dažādiem konteksta veidiem, kā arī profesionālā slenga nozīme angļu valodā. Šī darba mērķis ir parādīt, kā profesionālā slenga vārdu nozīme tiek izteikta un veidota motokrosa diskursā, precīzāk, ziņu portālu rakstos. Darba praktiskajā daļā tiek aprakstīta profesionālā slenga vārdu nozīmes izpratne kontekstā un tiek sniegti piemēri. Darba izpētes metode ir diskursa analīze. Darba rezultātā tiek parādīts, ka motokrosā lietotā profesionālā slenga un slenga nozīme var tikt izprasta caur stilistiskās izteiksmes līdzekļiem noteiktā kontekstā.

The theoretical part discusses the concept of discourse; explains and gives the characteristics to the motocross-related discourse; examines the ways of meaning-making via context and via stylistic devices; provides information about different context types; it examines the role of occupational slang in English vocabulary. The thesis aims to display how the meaning of occupational slang is communicated and constructed within motocross-related discourse, more precisely, in online news articles. The empirical part describes and gives examples of comprehension of meaning of occupational slang words within the context. The research method is discourse analysis. The results of the present research indicate that the meaning of motocross occupational slang and slang can be communicated via stylistic devices in specified context.
